 History

Mike Deffendoll began working for Buchta House Movers in 1978.  Buchta House Moving had been in the business since the early 1950's. 

By 1984 Elmer Buchta Moving Engineers Division had moved more than 11,000 buildings.

In March 1995 Buchta House Movers sold it's business and interests along with its moving equipment and experienced project manager (Mike Deffendoll) to a company located in Newburgh, Indiana and was renamed "MCF House Movers, LLC". 

Mike Deffendoll along with his son have since acquired the ownership of MCF House Movers, LLC, and their continued commitment to offer the quality and expertise that homeowners and businesses deserve when looking for a structural mover - makes this Southern Indiana company one that is built on the reputation that offers dedicated service 2nd to none!

Recently, heavy equipment capability has been added to our range of

  services and we continue the current services offered  for House Moving.
